I went to quite a good meeting at school with the school governors. This was recorded just before the meeting officially started. I find the pre and post ‘official’ times quite interesting in the tone and feel of conversation and voice. What fascinates me about this sound is the sheer indistinctiveness of what is being said. It feels like a rush of words which have mingled to become a river of human interaction. A union of sound which tells us that distinct and unique conversations take place but difficult to separate by the ‘listening’ capabilities of my sound recorder.
